Spectrum Noir Red challenge

I made this card for the Spectrum Noir Red Challenge.  The image is Piper from The Greeting Farm.  I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color Piper and fussy cut her out.  I was gifted some papers & tags from a friend - so nice.
I used Karen Burniston's Lucy Label and turned it on it's side to animate the "MOM" circle.  I used Transparent Double Sided Adhesive and True Red Silk Microfine Glitter to die cut the heart Ring Frame Edges.
I didn't use the bottom bump so I could add the spinner from Rectangle Pull Card to animate the red glittered heart.  You can see in the photo below how I've attached the spinner to the Lucy Label.
And another view of the spinner.
Happy Stampin' ,
Raquel

Tag Pivot Valentine Scratch Off

Here's a card that my son Jake & I created together.  I used Karen Burniston's Seamless Backing technique.  The stamp is a retired set from Stampin' Up! called Toucan of My Love.

Now you may be saying where's the scratch off?  Look at the upper right corner then scratch off to reveal the hidden message.  Jake thought it was so cool to make the "Scratch Off Potion" and wanted to test it out over and over again......and he did!
Want to make your very own potion?  Here's the recipe I found on Pinterest: 2 tsp paint & 1 tsp dish soap.  I found that was a lot so I cut the portion in half.  Stamp your sentiment, color over it with white crayon then paint on the potion and let it dry.

Happy Crafting,
Raquel

Karen Burniston's December Designer Challenge - Honey's Double Heart Pivot

It's time again for Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge.  Each member of the team chose 1 or 2 holidays so the entire year will be represented with awesome cards - so much inspiration!
I chose Valentine's Day.  My card was inspired by Karen's recent Pivot Doubling Technique.  Click this link to see Karen in action demonstrating this technique.
I've used the Heart Pivot die for my base.  I cut my patterened paper at 5.5 x 7.5 scored at .5" from each end and then in the middle at 3.25.  The 2 Chocolate Chip panels were cut at 5 x 5.
I also used the new Ring Frame Edges around the pivoting heart on the front.

Inspired by Karen again, I used the shadow layer of Honey the Bear and some of the pieces from the detail layer to make Honey look very different.  I die cut another shadow layer for Honey's head, added eyes, nose & ears to the head then cut just the head portion off & used pop dots to make it more dimensional.  All Chocolate Chip pieces of Honey were sponged with Whisper White Craft Ink.
I stamped the sentiment from Delightful Dozen onto a heart that is also included in the die set.  The key (also included in the Heart Pivot) was cut from Pink Shimmer Sheetz.  To make the heart frames (all 4 of them), I simply nested 2 different sized hearts and die cut at the same time.

Happy Stamping,
Raquel
