Crazy 4 Challenges - Graduations

It's the season for graduations, so Crazy 4 Challenges thought it suiting to make graduation cards today. I used a stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Bravo and all of the new In Color inks.
I die cut Stitched Rectangle in Call me Clover and Whisper White.  I stamped several sentiments using Lovely Lipstick, Call me Clover,  Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Bunch, and  Blueberry Bushel.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Accented Blooms

It's a sneak peak of a stamp set called Accented Blooms from Stampin' Up!'s new annual catalog.  I love that this set coordinates with the Tailored Tag Punch from the Occasions catalog.  I am also using a new In Color card stock called Pineapple Punch and a returning color called Blackberry Bliss.
I stamped the image onto a piece of Whisper White and colored it in using Stampin' Blends.  I used a Rich Razzelberry Stampin' Blends marker to color in the White Perfect Accents (on the top corner of my card).  I added a border using a ruler and a Journaling Pen.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Sketch

It's the third Saturday of the month and that means it's sketch time with Crazy 4 Challenges.  I had a piece of Brusho Layered Leaves embossed card stock laying around, so I based my card around that and the sketch.
I stamped the images onto Whisper White, colored the bird using Stampin' Write Markers and then fussy cut them out.  I used my paper piercing tool to pierce around the edges of the punched circles.
A simple sentiment and image for the inside.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Brusho

I had this piece of Brusho piece in my stash for quite a while and now it's finally on a card.  To make the Brusho panel, I embossed a piece of water color paper using the Brick Wall embossing folder.  Then I misted the paper with water and sprinkled on Brusho.  I moved the paper around to get the color to move within the grooves of the brick pattern.  I added a die cut and the front is complete.
For the inside, I used Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop Up.  I stamped the presents from Happiest of Days onto a label - they're colored using Stampin' Blends.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Train Day

The theme for this weeks' Crazy 4 Challenges challenge is to add a train to our cards to celebrate Train Day.  I couldn't find any trains in my stash so I thought I'd use the mode of transportation that I did have.  Zoom Zoom!
I think the juvenile paper and stickers work perfectly with the punny stamped sentiment.  My son has outgrown these and I am glad that I found another use for them.
I used Karen Burniston's House and Fence Pop Up to make the floating floor.  The banners and rectangle signature area are from Karen's die called Twist Panel.

Happy Stampin',

Karen Burniston's Paper Pros - No Socks

For the Paper Pros challenge this month the "No Socks" theme was set by Frances Bryne.  I must admit at first I was stumped as to what to create.....and then I thought well cats don't wear socks so.....
It may look like she's wearing white socks, but she stepped in white paint LOL.  I adhered the sentiment from Word Set 2 - Birthday around the circle.  The fish bone comes with the Cat & Dog die set.
I found the perfect sentiment in a set from Stampin' Up! called We Must Celebrate.  I added a fish bone border - it's purrfect!

Happy Stampin',

Crazy 4 Challenges - Super Hero

It's super hero time with Crazy 4 Challenges.  I broke out a retired stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Everyday Hero for this "Super Mom" card.  I stamped the images on the front onto various pieces of card stock and then fussy cut them out.
Oh wait what's this?  It gets even more "Super" on the inside by using a die from Karen Burniston called Twist Panel Pop Up.  You can see the center piece is starting to twist and open up.  I used a banner die (included in the set) to make a MOM banner on the top.
And here's the "Super" scene!  I stamped the city scape onto each scalloped rectangle and used colored pencils to color in buildings.  I added a stamped sentiment and another mom superhero on pop dots.
Happy Stampin',
