Elizabeth Craft Designs' Designer Challenge - Fall/Harvest/Halloween

I love Halloween, it's so much fun to dress up in costume and go Trick-or-Treating and see others in costume too.  I decided to use the new Tags & More die to make a treat holder.  Let the Halloween fun begin.

1.  Cut pattern paper at 3.25 x 6.75 and score at 2 and 2.25.
2.  Place Tags & More die at the top of the pattern paper and die cut.
3.  Die cut corner flourish, circle reinforcement and filigree from black card stock.  Adhere to treat holder using above photo for placement.
4.  Tie ribbon and twine through hole.  Tie ribbon around lower area of treat holder.
5.  Apply Glitter Border Lines just below pocket.  Apply Glitter Dots in opening of corner flourish.
6.  Add candy or treat

Here's a view of the back.

I made another treat holder........here comes the snow.

This treat holder is made using the same dimensions as the Halloween treat holder.

Happy Stamping,
Raquel

Halloween Ring Accordion

I am so excited to show you Karen Burniston's new Characters!
Meet Honey the Bear and Dutch the Fox!
I've put Honey on the front of the Ring Accordion that showcases Karen's new Ring Edges for the Ring Accordion.

Aren't they adorable and spooky at the same time?  You can also see the new Ring Edges - so many fun styles to choose from.  Honey is ready for Trick-or-Treating with his Dutch mask on.  Dutch is ready to cast some spells with a hand cut witch hat.

The sentiments were stamped on the banner from Lots of Pops.  The cauldron in the center panel is a stamp and the drips are cut from a companion die included in Honey the Bear from vellum.  The bubbles above the cauldron were cut with Rainy Day from vellum.

I love how all the accent pieces to Dutch are separate dies to make cutting them in different colors so easy.

I'll be showcasing both Pop It Ups and Elizabeth Craft Designs' latest releases this week, so please visit again soon.

Happy Stamping,
Raquel

Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge - Spooky September Katie Accordion

I used Karen Burniston's Katie Accordion with Katie Stars Frame Edges for my spooky card base.  The main images are a new peel-off from Elizabeth Craft Designs called Halloween in Frame - yes they match the shape of Katie perfectly!

I placed the Peel-Off Stickers onto white card stock that had Double Sided Adhesive applied to it, then covered with Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter then colored with Spectrum Noir markers.
I wanted to add a little more interactive elements into my card, so I added two poles and banners from Lots of Pops.  I made the poles longer by not putting my cutting pad to the very end of the die & simply cut the sides out with scissors.

On the right side of the card I added an acetate spiral from Spiral Circle Pull Card and adhered all the little stars from the Katie Stars Frame Edges to the spiral.

What spooky fun!
Happy Stamping,

Raquel

Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge -Spooky September

It's Spooky September for Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge this month.  I used the House Pivot die for my card base & Holiday House to create this bright, fun spooky house.  I love glitter & I love purple glitter even more, so I used Amethyst Silk Microfine Glitter to add some dazzle to the roof, window and door frames.  The Trick or Treat and cat face are a stickers I found in my stash.

I added the All Seasons Tree on both sides of the card.  Poppy looks a bit frightened and wants to fly his broom far away from Chilly the ghost (shadow layer cut from Vellum).  I gave Poppy some eyelashes & spider webs on the house using Black Ribbon Radar Peel-Off Stickers by cutting the design to my desired shape.

I hope you have a Spooky September too!

Raquel

Spectrum Noir "Friendship"

I am participating in Spectrum Noir's monthly challenge and the theme this month is  "Friendship".  I used Spectrum Noir markers to color in Piper & gave her several word bubbles from Just Sayin' and Fabulous Phrases stamp sets.  What do you think of the dip dyed hair?  I am taking an online Hair & Skin coloring class.

It's a Pop It Ups.....shocking right?  You know I love me some Pop It Ups!
I used Lorna Label & Spiral Circle Pull Card on the inside (acetate spiral is hard to see in the photo).  I used the new Little Letters Thinlits to spell out "Alicia" on the bump.  Alicia had give me the holographic paper & I wanted to use it on a card for her.
Alicia -thank you so much for the fun holographic paper & for helping me prep for my classes.

I punched 2 slots for the ribbons on both Lorna Labels & put the ribbon through.  I glued some small flowers from Spiral Circle Pull Card & In Color Sequins on the acetate spiral.

Happy Stamping,
Raquel

Pop It Ups Katie Accordion Snowman

I made this card using Katie Accordion, Katie Holly Frame Edges, Outdoor Edges, Katie Pivot & Snowman.  I die cut the Katie Holly Frame Edges in both light green & dark green then put the light green pieces back in - kind of like a puzzle.

Isn't that Snowman the cutest?  The papers and stamp are from Stamp Boutique.

Ornament Ring Accordion

I used Karen Burniston's Ring Accordion to create this stunning holiday card.  I cut the ornament topper (included in the Ring Accordion)  from Silver Metallic Shimmer Sheetz - looks just like metal.  The holly from the Candle die set was cut from white cardstock that had Double Sided Adhesive applied to it then covered with Peridot Silk Microfine Glitter and the little berries were cut from Red Metallic Shimmer Sheetz.  The Season's was cut from Basic Black cardstock.

I added Holly Flourish around the first ring, holly & pine branches from Candle was added to the middle ring and bows from Ornament Set 3 were added to the first and last ring.  I die cut an opening in the center ring so the ornament from Ornament Set 3 would dangle.  The glittered ornament is hanging from a jump ring attached to the top part of an ornament topper cut from Silver Metallic Shimmer Sheetz.  I just sandwiched the little ornament topper between the layers.

This card took a really long time to complete, but I love how it turned out.  The other side of the middle ornament is cut from Peridot Shimmer Sheetz and Whisper White cardstock.

Happy Stamping,
Raquel

Season's Greetings Stand Up Helper

The Season's Greetings was cut from Yellow Metallic Shimmer Sheetz, however it wasn't  used to hold up my easel card - I used it as my sentiment.  I love the versatility of the word Stand Up Helpers.  The Ruby Shimmer Sheetz was altered with Alcohol Inks, embossed with Trendy Tiles embossing folder & Black StazOn was used.  The stocking was cut from Yellow Metallic Shimmer Sheetz and White Velvet was used on the cuff.

I used Stand Up Helpers 2 to aid my easel card in standing up.  I die cut another set from white cardstock that had Double Sided Adhesive applied to it, then covered with Red Silk Microfine Glitter.

Happy Stamping,
Raquel
