Crazy 4 Challenges - National Popcorn Day

It's time for the Crazy 4 Challenges National Popcorn Day challenge!
January 19th was National Popcorn Day, so let's add some "POP" to our cards by creating a card that includes a popcorn theme, creating a pop up card, pop up your image or adding a pop of color to a black & white card.
I decided to add a pop of color to my Pop It Ups card by using Karen Burniston's Heart Pivot Card die and Rose die from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I added a strip of glittered card stock to the ends of my card for some extra glitz.  The little "Hello" is from Karen's Accordion Rectangle.  When I was die cutting the Rose, I found the "Hello" in with my card stock and "Pop" in my head came the idea for the sentiment.
Hello I love you!  Perfect for Valentine's Day, anniversary or just to say I love you to that special someone.  To get the two-toned look on the stem & leaves, I left the card stock in the die and sponged Old Olive ink over the open areas.  I like how the edges are left un-inked while the centers get all the color.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Spectrum Noir Red challenge

I made this card for the Spectrum Noir Red Challenge.  The image is Piper from The Greeting Farm.  I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color Piper and fussy cut her out.  I was gifted some papers & tags from a friend - so nice.
I used Karen Burniston's Lucy Label and turned it on it's side to animate the "MOM" circle.  I used Transparent Double Sided Adhesive and True Red Silk Microfine Glitter to die cut the heart Ring Frame Edges.
I didn't use the bottom bump so I could add the spinner from Rectangle Pull Card to animate the red glittered heart.  You can see in the photo below how I've attached the spinner to the Lucy Label.
And another view of the spinner.
Happy Stampin' ,
Raquel

Karen Burniston Designer Challenge - Artsy

Welcome back to my second card for Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge.  For my artsy card, I used Katie Label Pivot along with Heart Pivot Card (key & keyhole).  I was inspired by Karen's embossing & brayerinking video and I wanted to try it out.
I made a frame around the sentiment by nesting two Katie Labels and die cutting.  For the other Katie Label, I brayer Lost Lagoon onto my light blue cardstock, embossed using Katie Labels, brayer again, then die cut.  For the keys, I embossed the key onto silver cardstock, then brayer Black Memento.  Add some Silver Border Lines and my artsy creation is complete.

Happy Crafting,
Raquel
