Sneak Peak Pop It Ups - Oval Landscape Accordion

The new Oval Landscape Accordion has lots of decorating potential!  Take a look-see.
I used the new Trellis Wavy Frames to decorate the front of my Accordion.  I used the Eiffel Tower from the Hanging Charm Pull Tab covered in Silver Silk Microfine Glitter using a jump ring to attach it to the open oval frame.  To die cut the oval opening, I used the largest oval from the new Oval Pull Card die set.  Ok so have a look at the sentiment......
Did you see it?  The sentiment is now different.  Want to know where it went?  The "Bonjour Sweetie" is on the back side of the "Enjoy your day".  Because of the open frame on the first oval, you can view the back of the other oval in the closed position.  I made another card using this technique with the Katie Accordion here.

Karen Burniston Designer Challenge - Home for the Holidays

It's time for Karen Burniston's Desginer Challenge!  This month, the team was challenged to make some sort of home on our holiday cards.  I used Merry & Bright stamp set along with the stitched oval die from Oval Accordion Card on the front.  To accent the sentiment, I used Stampin' Write Markers to color in some areas.
I decided I wanted to make a cozy home for Jolly the Mouse.  I followed Karen's video on how to make a floating floor for the Barn Pop Stand. Jolly decided to add some lights around his door  - I die cut the lights from Holiday House using white card stock then used Stampin' Write Markers & a Silver Metallic marker to color in the lights.  Since I have a floating floor, I was able to add the candy canes as a nice path leading up to his home.
Jolly is holding his letter to Santa, I sure hope it makes it to the North Pole in time.
Here's the back view.  I stamped some more sentiments from the Merry & Bright stamp set onto the barn and added some presents from the Sleigh Gift Card.
Here's a view of the floating floor - this technique really adds lots of decorating possibilities!
Happy Stampin',

Crazy 4 Challenges - "Crazy" Sketch

There's lots of freedom with this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge!  The team was instructed to create a card using your favorite "Crazy" sketch from our 2015 sketches.  I chose sketch C42286 for my inspiration.
I found this key paper in my stash and I immediately knew I wanted to make a masculine birthday card using the Clock & Gears from Karen Burniston's Pop It Ups collection.
What a super masculine card don't you think?

Crazy 4 Challenges - O' Christmas Tree

The Crazy 4 Challenges team gets their inspiration from the lyrics of the song O' Christmas Tree this week.  The card can include a Christmas tree, pine branches of a Christmas tree or even a tree in Summer or Winter setting.
I decided to use Karen Burniston's Christmas Tree Pop Stand for my card and lots of pattern paper that I found in my stash.  I used Silver Metallic Shimmer Sheetz to die cut the garland/lights.
I added more of the Silver Metallic Shimmer Sheetz garland/lights to the inside trees too.  I cut them into smaller pieces to fit the tree to allow the tree to still move around when the card is opened.  For the tree skirt, I used Paris Edges.
