Crazy 4 Challenges - Inspiration Challenge

It's time for an inspiration challenge with Crazy 4 Challenges.  The team is to be inspired by a beautiful cake decked out in mint/aqua, coral, gold, and white.  With my parents anniversary this month I thought it suiting to make them an anniversary card.  I stamped the sentiment from One in a Million onto a decorator label from Twist Panel Pop Up.  I swiped the Marbled background stamp with Calypso Coral and then sponged Lost Lagoon on the stamp and then stamped it onto a piece of Whisper White.
Both my parents love baked good and my Mom is a fabulous baker!  Happy 51st anniversary to my wonderful parents!  So to help celebrate I used the Cupcake Pop Up for the inside of my card.  I die cut some hearts and the bow from Gold Foil for a regal touch.  I stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes on a piece of Whisper White and punched it out with Duet Banner Punch.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Interactive Card

The Crazy 4 Challenges designer challenge of interactive card is right up my alley!  I stamped this sentiment using Stampin' Up!'s Delightful Dozen stamp set onto a Katherine Label from Karen Burniston.

And lucky for me that this is an interactive challenge because I wanted to try making a double floating floor with Karen Burniston's new House & Fence Pop Up.  I used quite a few of her new stamp sets on this card and it is a bit bulky - but so cute!  To make the double floating floor, I die cut 2 of the floating floors, added another score line on the side that only had one and cut off the center bump.  I adhered the floors up to the score line one side at a time, then adhered the other end.  I also adhered the center portion of the floating floor together.  Because I had cut out the center bump, there was an area large enough to use the sleigh pop up mechanism.....and that's how the sleigh is adhered to the card.
Look at this cuteness overload!  I am loving the new Winter Animals and that gingerbread man from Winter Charms is just so cute.
The new Winter Animals have a bear, hedgehog and a penguin.   The Winter Charms has 2 different sizes of the following: snowflake, tree and gingerbread.
Here's a side view where you can see the little center area that the sleigh is attached to.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Boo to You!

Here's a fun Halloween card using Karen Burniston's new collection of dies.  I used Halloween Scene, Halloween Elements, and Word Set 2 to create a spooky scene on the front of my card.  Can you see the jack-o-lantern with his mask?  I borrowed the raccoon's mask from Woodland Animals....I hope he won't mind.
For the inside, I sponged Tangelo Twist, Daffodil Delight and Blackberry Bliss onto a piece of Whisper White.  I used some of the sames dies as the front again to create a similar scene.  I fussy cut some of the skulls from the pattern paper.  I stamped the sentiment from Delightful Dozen onto a label from the Gift Card Label die set.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Sketch

It's the third Saturday of the month and that means it's challenge time with Crazy 4 Challenges!
I followed the sketch for this quick and easy card.  I found the patterned paper and spider web doily in my stash.  I die cut the butterfly from the Move Me thinlits from Stampin' Up!  The sentiment is from the You Move Me stamp set - yep it comes in a bundle!  I used StazOn to stamp the sentiment because the pattern paper has a bit of gloss to it.
I used the other side of the pattern paper on the inside and stamped a sentiment - viola.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Karen Burniston Paper Pros Challenge - Halloween

I am playing along with Karen Burniston's Paper Pros Halloween challenge.  I used the new Gift Card Label to stamp a sentiment from Suite Seasons stamp set.  I couldn't wait to get my hands on these spooky hands from the new Halloween Elements set.  I stamped the sentiment using Stampin' Up!'s Suite Seasons stamp set onto a Gift Card Label.  I was pleased that the new Gift Card Label coordinates with Katherine Label Pop Up.
I used Karen's new House & Fence Pop Up to create this Halloween scene using some more of her new dies.  For the house, I sponged Whisper White through the shapes on the die.  The floating floor is a great generic die that can make a floating floor for any theme - you don't have to use the accompanying house die if you don't want to.
Here's a view from the side.  The die cuts the 2 little slots and the "L" supports for you.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Use lots of glitter

It's going to get very glittery up in here!  Crazy 4 Challenges team member Rebecca Ednie says summer, water + sunshine always makes her think of glitter.  So, let's use lots of glitter on our projects this week.  Ok then!
I went all glittered out!  I placed a piece of Clear Double Sided Adhesive onto a piece of white card stock and die cut the shapes using Karen Burniston's Nature Edges.  After die cutting, I covered them all with Silk Microfine Glitter from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I put the pieces back together like a puzzle onto a piece of white card stock, die cut a few hearts and then adhered it to the white mat. I wanted the sentiment to stand out a little more so I put it on a decorator label from Twist Panel Pop Up.  The sentiment is from Word Set 1 - Greetings.  The inside of the card has a white mat with the 3 little hearts that were cut out on the front.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - I can't let go of summer

The Crazy 4 Challenges team can't let go of summer.  We are to make a cord or project using the ocean or beach as inspiration.  I chose to use the Charm Accordion from Karen Burniston and some peel off stickers from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
The Charm Accordion creates such a cute little card!  I had these ocean themed peel-off-stickers in my stash and it went perfect with this challenge......and I needed a get well card for one of my customers that hurt her back.  I adhered a piece of Clear Double Sided Adhesive onto white card stock, removed the liner and placed the peel-off-stickers onto the adhesive.  To get multi colors on the fish, I applied Bluebell first, burnished the glitter in and then repeated the process with Spring Peridot and Yellow.
I used Nature Edges to die cut some waves.  I used Sassy Salutations from Stampin' Up! for the sentiment.  I made the peel-off-sticker into a charm by using a 1/8" hole punch.  I hope this card helps to cheer up my customer super fast.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel
