Crazy 4 Challenges - Start on Christmas

It's time for the Crazy 4 Challenges - Let's get a start on Christmas.  Create a card or project inspired by the jolliest of holidays.
I decided to use the super cute Christmas Cuties stamp set from Stampin' Up! and the Evergreen Pivot die from Karen Burniston.
I stamped the super cute images from Christmas Cuties, colored with Stampin' Write Markers and fussy cut them out.  I die cut the card base using Evergreen Pivot and Outdoor Edges from Karen Burniston's Pop It Ups.  I used Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper for the snow hills - they are so sparkly!

I die cut another Evergreen Pivot from pattern paper in the Merry Moments Stack and cut out just the tree portion to adhere to my card base.  I also used the companion dies to die cut more trees in Peridot Gemstone Shimmer Sheetz and used the embossing feature in the dies to make a pattern onto the trees.

Raquel

Cocoa Western

Here's a card I made using Karen Burniston's new stamp set called Cocoa Western.  I used Flourish Gift Frame to die cut both of the rectangles.  Cocoa was stamped using Black Tuxedo Memento and colored with alcohol markers.
I used the Fence Pop Stand, Cocoa the Horse & props 6 on the inside.  The size of my card is 4.25 x 11 and as you can see it's just as wide as the fence.  So here's a tip if you didn't line up the fence perfectly - simply add the grass right over the area of the Pop Stand that shows.

I used Beige & White Velvet on Cocoa, what a nice tactile feel.  The Props 6 set comes with lots of fun accessories to "giddy" up Cocoa!

Crazy 4 Challenges - C4C309 Rust, Green & Yellow

The Crazy 4 Challenges challenge this week was to use Rust, Hunter Green and Sun Yellow (think Fall leaves) on our project.
I decided to use Among the Branches stamp set and Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from Stampin' Up!  I just love the Fall colors on this card.

Lucky Birthday

Here's a flat card using the new Lucky Birthday clear stamp set from Karen Burniston.  I used the new Flourish Gift Frame to die cut a Whisper White rectangle & "Celebrate".  I added Transparent Double Sided Adhesive to the "Celebrate" so I could cover it with Basic Black Silk Microfine Glitter.   Lucky was colored with alcohol based markers & I added some lace washi tape that I've had in my stash for a long time waiting to be used.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment included in the Lucky Birthday clear stamp set.  I stamped the little bunny 4 times & even added some spots with a marker.
Happy Stampin',

Crazy 4 Challenges - C4C308 Sketch

It's the 3rd Saturday of the month and that means it's sketch time over at Crazy 4 Challenges.  I used Stampin' Up!'s Owl Builder Punch and Tree Builder Punch for quick cuteness.  I stamped several sentiments from Just Sayin' onto Whisper White then used my embossing sandwich to emboss the matching Word Bubbles Framelits....this adds a bit of dimension around the word bubbles.

Happy Stampin',

Karen Burniston Designer Challenge - Characters in Costume day 2

I've created another card for Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge! The finished size of this card is 5 x 5 and is simple on the front but it all changes when you open the card!  I used Karen's Merry Christmas Pop Up die for the sentiment and flourish.  I colored some Large Basic Pearls with a red Sharpie to embellish the "i" and on the snowflake.
I used the Sleigh Gift Card & Jolly the Mouse to decorate the inside.  Transform any Character into Santa or a reindeer with Props 5, a must for your Pop It Ups collection.
Here's a close up of the inside.  I used the Merry & Bright stamp set for the inside sentiment.

Happy Craftin',
Raquel
