Pop N Cuts Giggle Greetings

I made this Pop N Cut card for my BFF Heidi who is a dog lover (Graycie is a beautiful blue weimaraner).  I used Giggle Greetings, don't you just laugh when you see that dog?  The sentiment is non SU, I saw that stamp at a convention & loved how fun it was.  I used Karen Burniston's Pop N Cuts A2 base & Label Trellis cut in two different colors & then glued the Chocolate Chip pieces back into the center.  I cut the main image using Window Collection Framelits & used the paper piercing template on the back side so the piercings would turn white on the Core'dinations Chocolate Chip card stock (I even sanded it a bit).  I colored the image using Stamping Write Markers.

For the inside I used the House insert & made it into a dog house complete with lots of bones, bowl & a door for Graycie to get into her lovely home.  I used the Chocolate Chip Core'dinations again for the house, embossed it with the silicone & Textured Impressions pad then sanded it so those areas would expose the white core of the paper.  The bones & waterbowl are from an original Sizzix dog die I've had for dog years.....get it...too funny.  I used Karen's floating floor template that she has on her blog, you need to visit her blog as she's got SO many great templates.  The inside sentiment is from Lacey & Lovely cut with Karen's Gift Card Holder die.
Here's a close up with the door open.  I used a craft knife to cut the opening for the door & glued the image behind & die cut another house to cover the back to make it look more finished.  I've had such fun making this card and I hope Heidi & Graycie enjoy it too.

Snowman Punch Board

I made these adorable candy filled (of course) snowmen for my son Jake's classmates - they were a hit.  I CASED the idea from Jackie Topa, she used a real branch for the arms, but I decided not to use it after making 18 of these guys and I would have to find those branches in my yard which would be pretty tricky unless I can use a palm tree.

Christmas Banner

I made this banner with the Candelight Christmas Fabric & Holiday Stocking Bigz die, to accesorize I used the Stitched Felt Winter Wishes & Sweater Trim Ribbon.  It took less than 2 hours to complete (with help of the little elves that were over playing aka my son & his friend).  I always wanted to make a holiday banner & well I can certainly cross that off my list this year AND not to mention it was done before Christmas - now that's a bonus.
Here's a close up view of all the fun crafty stockings.

I die cut 2 pieces per stocking, sewn them together, stuffed them a little & then added the accessories.  Some of the itmes I've used was from the Clearance Rack, go check it out at my online store - you may be able to make your very own stocking banner.

Party Pop N Cut Layout

Lucky me to get more scrapbooking done!  I had started this page a while ago & I am pleased with the finished page.  The papers I had in my stash, the letters are a Cuttlebug alphabet & the "Party" were some stickers I had.  I used Karen Burniston's Chevron Border & Pop N Cut Square Ornate Base, love those dies.  I was inspired by Helen Cryer's card a while ago where she had a number strip & showcased a number with a star like I did at the top, but I thought it would be fun to make that into a shaker.

I hid my journaling under the Pop N Cut, I used the Star insert and Flagpole & Banner set.  I die cut several stars & a Happy Birthday and put them in the center of the PNC Star insert.  I also used Helen's idea again to make notice of the "7" on the numbered washi tape.  I'm so glad I was able to scrap again & I love the way this layout looks.

Tooth Layout

I finally was able to work on my scrapbook!  My son Jake couldn't wait until his first tooth fell out, he wanted to be just like the other kids in school that were loosing theirs.  Look at the sillyness of the noodle hanging out the hole.  I had the paper & the embllishments already in my stash.

Pop N Cut Label Window

This card was made using the Pop N Cut standard A2 base with the Label Window insert.  I die cut the pattern paper using Karen Burniston's Label & Butterflies die using retired DSP.  The candles are cut from are an old die I found in my stash - non Stampin Up.  The stamps are non Stampin Up.

Flying Easel

Here's a version of Karen Burniston's ever popular Flying Easel card.  I die cut the vellum from the Lattice die & sandwhiched it in between the Label Framelits.  I've also used Beautiful Butterflies & Adorning Edgelits, the DSP is retired.  To get the water splotches on the top of the card I sponged Crumb Cake onto the Regal Rose & then spritzed my hand with water & flicked it onto the card.

The instructions to make a Flying Easel are on Karen Burniston's site

Pop N Cut Label Window

While I had my supplies out for Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge last week, I figured I'd use my Label Window insert in the Stampin Up base.  Do you recognize the base?  I used the Adorning Edgelits to cut the edge into a more rounded shape, using the embossing folder (which I didn't do) would really make the edge pop.  I used a stamp set that I got for my birthday & added some sequins & holographic washi tape (love it, that too was a gift from my neighbor).

Look at that Washi Tape!!! It's such good holographic goodness.  The DSP is from last year's Sale-A-Bration (I think).  I used the Label & Butterfly die to cut the white pieces out - they match the shape perfectly just as Karen planned it.
Thanks for stopping by.

Tag It with Ornate Base

I die cut a Labels Framelit from Whisper Whtie then colored the image from Tag It using Stampin Write Markers & added a googlie eye.  I used the Square Ornate Base for this card & cut another base in white, but trimmed a bit off the sides & top to make a nice layer.

I inked the sentiment from Sassy Salutations using Stampin Write Markers, in the background I stamped the numbers from Bring on the Cake.  I die cut some balloons from more of that fun halographic paper & attached them with coiled wire.  Just a quick card......quick but fun.

Karen Burniston's December Designer Challenge

For Karen Burniston's December Designer Challenge, I was challenged to use the Label Window Pop N Cut insert.  I decided to use the exclusive Stampin Up base with Monster Maniacs and Bombs Away Birthday stamp sets & some Sale-A-Bration DSP from last year.  HINT: SAB will soon be upon us!

I stamped all the images with Versamark, applied black embossing powder then colored all images with Stampin Write Markers.  I used the companion die called Butterflies & Labels to die cut the Crushed Curry piece behind my monsters - I simply traced around the edge with Rich Razzelberry Stampin Write Marker.  Where the 2 DSP seams meet, I used some Epic Day Washi Tape.  For the end pieces I used the scallop from Adorning Accents to make a nice decorative edge, I even used the matching embossing folder but unfortunately you can't see it too much.
Open the card & the magic happens....the labels are folded on a mountain so they extend out of the card when opened - really cool things can be animated there.

Now you can see that my little monster is holding a birthday bomb!
On the inside I have more Monster Maniacs & the sentiment from Bombs Away Birthday stamp set.  You can see the scallops better here & maybe even notice the embossing.
If you don't have any Pop N Cuts of your own, I say you need to remedy that & get some - Pop N Cuts are SO much FUN and easy!  To purchase any Stampin Up proudcts, simply go to my online store (see lihk at the top right)
Thanks to Karen & all the other wonderful designers for including me in the designer challenges.
Happy Stamping,
Raquel
