Happiest of Days

I love the daintiness of this stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Happiest of Days.  I stamped the sentiment onto an oval die cut from Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I traced around the sentiment with Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker and sponged a bit of Tangerine Tango ink around the edges as well.

 The inside sentiment and the cake comes in the set as well.

Spinner Square Pop Up

I made this card for my cat-loving coworker.  I used an Action Wobler underneath Whiskers the Cat.  I used the Speech Bubble Edgy Options to stamp the sentiment.

Oh what fun awaits inside!  I am using Karen Burniston's new Spinner Square Pop Up for the inside of my card.  You can see Whiskers peeking out from behind the square.

With the card opened fully, Whiskers sits behind the greeting.  This is a very fun interactive die set.  I adhered the spinner portion of the die in the middle of the card.  But, I adhered the square towards the bottom of the card so my other coworkers will have more room to sign their names.

Crazy 4 Challenges - Tag you're it

The Crazy 4 Challenges team are playing tag this week.....as in using tags in our creations.  The perfect die for this challenge is of course Karen Burniston's Tag Book Pop Up.

I stamped a sentiment from a set from Stampin' Up! called Remembering Your Birthday onto a tag.  I wanted more color behind the yellow so I adhered the yellow tag to a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock and hand cut to match the shape.  I had the cupcake stamps in my stash and they're colored using alcohol based markers.  Stampin' Up! is coming out with alcohol based markers in the new Ocassions catalog this January and I can't wait to try them out.

I added a few more cupcakes and ribbons on the inside.  All the die cut decorations are included in the set!  The Tag Book Pop Up is very easy to assemble and has so many different decorator dies that can be used even on a flat card (yes I said it - flat card LOL).

Tag Book Pop Up

Twist Panel Pop Up

I am in love with Karen Burniston's new Twist Panel Pop Up!  I have used several of her new dies on this card - loving the new dies!  I kept the front simple as a lead in to the magic inside.  I used the new fox from Woodland Animals.  This little guy is so easy to assemble and so adorable.  I also used Word Set 2 - Birthday and Birthday Charms.

 I mean WOW!  Look at this FUN stuff inside!  The die set Twist Panel Pop Up comes with all those rectangles so you can make a very colorful panel.  It even comes with those pop up hearts in the folds - I added a few more cupcakes because why not?  Look at the little raccoon and fox from the Woodland Animals die set holding a present and a cupcake.  The cupcake and present are charms, to hide the little holes, I snipped the "Charm" circle off and hid it under a hand or added a cherry.  This die is FANTASTIC!

 Here's a view of the card as it's opening.  It is a little bulky so additional postage will be necessary or just hand deliver to that special someone.....I think my Mom has already called dibs on this card.

Crazy 4 Challenges - Sketch

It's the third Saturday of the month and that means it's sketch time with Crazy 4 Challenges.  I decided I wanted to use this purple glitter paper I had and then I just followed the sketch.  I stamped the sentiment from Marquee Messages onto the circle and colored it in.  I used the Balloon Bouquet Punch and some thick bakers twine for the balloon.  I used a very thin line of glue under the twine so it wouldn't fall off the edge of the card.

Karen Burniston Challenge

It's time for our friendly Karen Burniston challenge!  This month our theme is "Flowers, Butterflies, and Spring".  I was gifted some gorgeous patterned paper by one very special lady and when I saw this purple glitter paper I was overjoyed!  I immediately thought to make them into purple sparkly butterflies for this challenge!
I kept the front simple and let my sentiment and sparkly butterflies take center stage.  The sentiment is from Karen Burniston's Occasions Clear Stamp Set and it's stamped onto a Labels & Circles die cut.

 For the inside, I used Anita Frames and some more sparkly butterflies.  The butterflies are from Butterfly Accessories and they cut through the thick glitter paper easily.What's great about the Anita Frames die set is that it comes with lots of coordinating dies that makes decorating your card very easy.

Crazy 4 Challenges - Zoo Lovers Day

It's time for the Crazy 4 Challenges Zoo Lovers Day challenge!  The team is to feature animals (wild or not) on our cards.  I chose to use this opportunity to make a birthday card for my neighbor who happens to be a cat lover.

 I decided to use this leopard print paper for Whiskers the Cat.....meow.  I stamped the sentiment onto a Labels & Circles die cut and have Whiskers peeking out from the label.  I added Glitter Dots to her collar and one for the mouse eye too.  

I used Lucy Label for the pop up on the inside of my card.  I added another Whiskers to the little top bump, a sentiment, and some glitter washi tape finish off this purrrfect card.
