Karen Burnison's Paper Pros Challenge - In a name

It's time for Karen Burniston's Paper Pros challenge.  The theme was set by yours truly and it's "In a Name".  Basically we are to choose a die that has the initials in the name of the die.  I chose rectangles and there's rectangles in the Twist Panel Pop Up.
Here's a view of the Twist Panel starting to open and twist.  There's lost of excitement when opening this card!  Slowly seeing the paper twist and then expand into a spectacular reveal.
I found some glittered embellishments in my stash that made decorating this card very quick.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Super Hero

It's super hero time with Crazy 4 Challenges.  I broke out a retired stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Everyday Hero for this "Super Mom" card.  I stamped the images on the front onto various pieces of card stock and then fussy cut them out.
Oh wait what's this?  It gets even more "Super" on the inside by using a die from Karen Burniston called Twist Panel Pop Up.  You can see the center piece is starting to twist and open up.  I used a banner die (included in the set) to make a MOM banner on the top.
And here's the "Super" scene!  I stamped the city scape onto each scalloped rectangle and used colored pencils to color in buildings.  I added a stamped sentiment and another mom superhero on pop dots.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Karen Burniston's Paper Pros Challenge - Green

Since Saint Patrick's Day is this week, I thought it suiting to make Karen Burniston's Paper Pros challenge - GREEN.  The team takes turns choosing the theme and I chose make a green card.  Not a very hard theme to follow just use the color green.
I started out with using Brusho on Glossy cardstock by sprinkling the Brusho onto a clear block, spritz with water and laid the Glossy on top of the block.  Once that was dry, I used Birthday Blossoms and StazOn to stamp some flowers.  I used an edge die included in  Karen Burniston's Twist Panel Pop Up to get those wavy edges.
I also used that same die for the inside of my card.  I just love how this card flips and expands upon opening.  I only used one die set to create this card!

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Add a heart

The Crazy 4 Challenges team are adding hearts to our projects this week.  I needed birthday card for my co-worker and her favorite color is red......so the challenge became her birthday card with a heart.  I stamped the cat and sentiment using You've Got Style stamp set.
I used Karen Burniston's Twist Panel Pop Up for my card base.  It's fun to watch the card twist open and expand to full view.
I stamped another cat and added a witty sentiment from Five for All stamp set.  I die cut the letters "You're Purr-fect" and used my white gel pen to trace around each letter to make them stand out more.  I added some flowers using Karen's Flowers and Bee die set.  For a signature area, I die cut two Katherine labels.  I really love the pop of red - my recipient's favorite color - and it's a classic heart color.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Twist Panel Pop Up

I am in love with Karen Burniston's new Twist Panel Pop Up!  I have used several of her new dies on this card - loving the new dies!  I kept the front simple as a lead in to the magic inside.  I used the new fox from Woodland Animals.  This little guy is so easy to assemble and so adorable.  I also used Word Set 2 - Birthday and Birthday Charms.
I mean WOW!  Look at this FUN stuff inside!  The die set Twist Panel Pop Up comes with all those rectangles so you can make a very colorful panel.  It even comes with those pop up hearts in the folds - I added a few more cupcakes because why not?  Look at the little raccoon and fox from the Woodland Animals die set holding a present and a cupcake.  The cupcake and present are charms, to hide the little holes, I snipped the "Charm" circle off and hid it under a hand or added a cherry.  This die is FANTASTIC!
Here's a view of the card as it's opening.  It is a little bulky so additional postage will be necessary or just hand deliver to that special someone.....I think my Mom has already called dibs on this card.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel
