Frances set the challenge today with Crazy 4 Challenges by having the team create a birthday card with an owl on it. I found the perfect paper in my stash for this challenge. I die cut a few circles from Karen Burniston's Twist Circle Pop Up and stamped the sentiment using Stampin' Up!'s Birthday Blooms stamp set.
I used the Twist Circle Pop Up for the base card.....and here you can see the circle popping up as the card opens.
In the photo, the card is almost open completely. You can see Poppy the Owl sitting on a branch from Halloween Scene. Poppy's party hat comes from Props 2....it matches the paper so well don't you think?
And here's the card completely open. The Twist Circle Pop Up is such a fun die to create with! I stamped the sentiment using Stampin' Up!'s Suite Sentiments stamp set. I sponged a little bit of ink on Poppy.
Happy Stampin', Raquel

It's the 3rd Saturday of the month and that means it's sketch time with Crazy 4 Challenges. I used the new Balloon Pop Up Framelits from Stampin' Up! for this card by cutting the area out of the pop up. I die cut the banner area from Whisper White, snipped it out from the pop up and adhered it over the Midnight Muse banner. I used the coordinating stamp set, Balloon Adventures, to stamp the sentiment. I used Dimensionals for added dimension on the balloons.
I kept the inside simple by stamping a sentiment and adding a balloon die cut. I had used the negative pieces from this balloon on the front.....so I thought it only fitting that I use the pretty piece on the inside. The stamp set even has 2 different shapes for balloon strings that you can stamp! Happy Stampin', Raquel

I am joining the gang for Karen Burniston's challenge this month! We are following a theme of Pi (circles or pie), Saint Patrick's Day and green on our cards. I chose to use Spiral Circle Pull as my base card and right away I have gotten the circle out of the way. Seeing that Easter will be here sooner than you know it, I decided to make an Easter themed card by using the sweet lil' bunny from Baby Charms. I placed the lil' bunny in the basket from Props 7. I just adore the 2nd lil bunny peaking out from behind the circle.
Open the card and you'll see the lil' bunny on the spiral along with some eggs and flowers. It's easy to add a little bit of color to the bunny by keeping the card stock in the die and sponging ink over the exposed areas. I used the Pull Card Edges to decorate the sides with patterned/solid papers.

The Crazy 4 Challenges team is focusing on moths today. March 14th is both Moth-er-day (focusing on moths) and Learn About Butterflies Day. So for our challenge this week, include a butterfly or moth on your card. I started by adding a small butterfly die cut from Karen Burniston's Butterfly Accessories to a piece of polka dot paper from my stash. I also added a die cut from Stampin' Up!'s Swirly Scribbles Framelits and a few rhinestones. I used a ruler and Journaling Pen to draw lines around the card. The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts.
