Elizabeth Craft Designs Designer Challenge

It's time for the Elizabeth Craft Designs' Designer Challenge.  The team was challenged to use the new Pebbles, Bricks or Circles dies on a project.
I chose Circles cut from White Iris Shimmer Sheetz.  I adhered the Circles to So Saffron cardstock then sponged Hello Honey around the Circles.  I used the Ginko Embossing Folder to emboss the Lost Lagoon cardstock then sponged with Lost Lagoon ink all over.

I adhered Transparent Double Sided Adhesive to Whisper White cardstock then laid the Koi Fish & Flowers Peel-Off Stickers on top of the exposed adhesive.  Next I covered the entire piece with Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter and colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.  I fussy cut them and used Dimensionals to adhere to my card.  I die cut Thank You in Basic Black and Rose Red to give a shadow effect.
I used a Transfer Sheet to pick up the negative koi images and placed them on an envelope.
Here's a close up so you can see just how beautiful they are!

I have another project to show you using the Pebbles die and Sea Glass Embossing Folder.  On the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog, Marsha showed us how to stamp with an embossing folder - I was inspired by this technique and gave it a try on this gift envelope.  I applied Double Sided Adhesive to black cardstock and die cut using the Pebbles die.  Next I adhered the Pebbles die cut to pink cardstock and then die cut with Crystal Flower and Bunch of Flowers 3.
For the gift bag, I started with white cardstock at 4.25 x 11 scored at 2, 5.5, 6.5 and 7.5.  I used Tags & More 7 - Vine to die cut the shape in the top. I adhered a small Velcro closure to keep the gift bag closed.
Add a sweet treat to the inside for a quick gift.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

C4C288 Vacation with Rocky the Crab

It's challenge time again at Crazy 4 Challenges.  The team was challenged to make a card with their perfect vacation destination in mind.  I immediately thought of using Rocky the Crab on beach in Sunny South Florida.
I used a decorator Accordion Fancy Label for my sentiment, keeping the die in place, I sponged the new Cucumber Crush ink all over the die cut.  I used Beach Edges and Hey There (Paper Pumpkin stamp set) to make it resemble sand.  The fins & mask are from Props 3 & I added Glossy Accents to the mask.
I was inspired by Karen Burniston's floating floor that she created for the May Designer Challenge and wanted to make a floating floor for the Adirondack Chair.  I started with a piece of Crumb Cake at 4.25 x 5.5, scored at .5" & 1" on both ends.  When die cutting, the die will go on the 1" score line.  The white piece on the top was embossed with Clouds Embossing Folder after being die cut.  Tip: cut all layers together so you're assured an exact fit.  You can see in the photo below it's just like making a box around the Adirondack.
After adhering the floating floor to the card I added some waves die cut with Beach Edges.  I wanted a tiny bit of sparkle so I used a 2-way Glue Pen on the wave tips and covered with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter.
After adhering the waves, I added a spinner from Rectangle Pull Card to animate the pail from Palm Tree & Pail.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Queen of the Universe

I was asked to make a thank you card for a teacher at my son's school.  I made the globe using Karen Burniston's Ring Accordion and Eiffel Tower Pop Stand.  The crown is from Elizabeth Craft Designs' Stocking Solid die.  I die cut the "Thank You" three times and adhered them together for added height.  The globe is computer generated colored using colored pencils.
I also decorated the envelope and inside of the card to match.
