Crazy 4 Challenges - Cake Day

According to the calendar, today is cake day!  The Crazy 4 Challenges team was asked to please add some cake to your card.  Well ok, no problem but can I eat some too?
I used Karen Burniston's new Labels & Circles with the coordinating Occasions Clear Stamp on the front of my card.....a few strips of pattern paper and a bow and the card front is done!
I used the Cake Pop Up die of course.  I followed the theme with the pattern paper and it was so simple to put together.  I stamped the sentiment from Just a Note Clear Stamp onto the bottom of the pattern paper strip.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Karen Burniston Designer Challenge - "Charmed I'm sure"

It's time to be "Charmed" with Karen Burniston!  Karen Aicken sets the challenge this week with "Charmed I'm sure".  The team members are to use any of the charm dies to make a card.
I kept the front of my card simple and used the Iron Fence covered with White Microfine Glitter.  I added a few wreaths courtesy of Holiday House.  The sentiment is from Holiday Clear Stamps stamped onto a Katie Label Pivot Card decorator die.
I got the idea to add the Iron Fence and Evergreen Pivot to the Flower Pot Pop Up following Karen's tutorial.  To get the fold in the correct spot, I laid the fence on the Flower Pot die cut itself and then folded them both.
I added the little box just like Karen did to animate the charm presents.  I added the little snowflakes, included in the Holiday Charms, to the tops of the trees.
I used the stencil portion of the Evergreen Pivot die to trace in the swirls, lines & dots with a Stampin' Write Marker.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Sketch

It's the 3rd Saturday of the month and that means it's sketch time with Crazy 4 Challenges.  I followed the sketch to make a quick and simple holiday card.  I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up!'s Merry Mice onto an oval die cut.  I had a fun day of stamping with my Mom and funny enough she has the exact same tree I used on this card.  I know I've had that tree in my stash a long time and I'd bet I bought it when I was with my Mom too!
Happy Stampin',
