Happy Birthday PopUp with Cupcake

Here's a quick card I made using Karen Burniston's newest die called Happy Birthday PopUp.  For the front, I used a cupcake peel-off sticker and made the frosting with embossing paste.  I colored the paste brown by swiping ink on my craft mat then mixing the paste into the ink.  I "Frosted" the cupcake with a toothpick.

Here's a close up of the cupcake. The sentiment from Sweet Little Sentiments (retired) was stamped onto a Lorna Label die cut.

I used the companion line of stars die to die cut all those stars in the bottom bump.  I used the other companion stars to die cut more stars in different colors to place around the Happy Birthday itself.  For the glittered "Happy Birthday", I used the companion die - yes it's included in the set - to cut from Double Sided Adhesive & covered with Silk Microfine Glitter.

Happy Stamping,
Raquel

Dutch & Honey In a Box

The style of this base card is just like the card in a box, except that I didn't cut the flaps to make it look like a box.  I added Honey the Bear and Dutch the Fox to the inside......they are ready to party!  They have their balloon, noise maker & party hat from Props 2.

I used the Oval Accordion Card die to make the glittered oval frames.  The flower & filigree are from Tags & More.  The script "Happy Birthday" is from Karen Burniston's newest dies called Happy Birthday PopUp.  I die cut it from white card stock that had Double Sided Adhesive on it, then covered it with Blue Bell & Yellow Silk Microfine Glitter.

Here's a side view.

The card folds flat for mailing!

Happy Stamping,
Raquel

Happy Birthday PopUp

Here's a quick card I made for the Spectrum Noir October Embellishment challenge.

I have used Karen Burniston's newest die called Happy Birthday PopUp.

I die cut the "Happy Birthday" twice, once in black and again in red so I could insert the black back into the sentiment.

Happy Stamping,
Raquel

Lighthouse Peel-Off Stickers

I created a bookmark using the new tag die from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  The Lighthouses Peel-Off Stickers were applied to white card stock that has Double Sided Adhesive then covered with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter and colored with Tombow markers.
I created the light beam from an accessory die included in the set.

Happy Stamping,
Raquel

Spectrum Noir October Challenge - Embellishments

I created this super cute multi tag card using Elizabeth Craft Designs' latest dies called Tags & More.  My idea was to make the colors like a candy corn, not edible of course, but sweet.  The images were stamped onto white card stock, colored with Spectrum Noir markers, fussy cut then I used dimensionals to adhere them to the card.

Here's a close up of the first panel cut using Tags & More 2 Deco.  The stamped image has the required embellishment of a "Tin Pin" that matches the stamp set.  The eyes in the tree were cut from Chilly the Penguin onto Double Sided Adhesive that I covered with Spring Peridot Silk Microfine Glitter.  The All Seasons Tree creates a wonderful backdrop for our little pirate Trick-or-Treater.

The center tag was cut using Tags & More 1 Lace.  All of the images were colored using Spectrum Noir and fussy cut.  The sentiment was stamped onto an oval from Katie Accordion.

The end tag was cut using Tags & More 3 Leaves.

I hope everyone has a fun Halloween.

Happy Stamping,
Raquel

Karen Burniston's October Designer Challenge Make it Masculine - Doctor Who

To all my fellow Whovians this card goes out to you.  I am a fan of the British TV series Doctor Who.  When Karen gave the Design Team the masculine challenge, I was thrilled to make this Tardis using Holiday House, Heart Pivot Card and Clock & Gears.  The base card is Pacific Point & sponged with Pacific Point.  The gears are cut from Silver Foil paper.  The sentiment is computer generated, then die cut using Lucy Label.

So what do the Daleks love to say?  Answer: "Exterminate", but my Dalek likes to say "Celebrate" from the stamp set called Fabulous Phrases stamped onto a word bubble from Lorna Label.  I used Lots of Pops to animate the Dalek made with Elizabeth Craft Designs' new Tags & More 3 Leaves die.  I also used Clock & Gears, Holiday House, Crystal Flower and  Rainy Day to create my Dalek.  The Tardis background paper I found online and simply printed it out.

Happy Stamping,
Raquel
