Merry Mice

I stamped this adorable mouse image from Stampin' Up!'s new Merry Mice stamp set onto Whisper White.  I colored the image using several colors of Classic Ink and an Aquapainter.  I also used the new Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper - it almost mimics snow!
I kept the inside very simple by stamping the greeting from Suite Seasons.  This is a quick and easy card to duplicate for all your holiday cards.

Crazy 4 Challenges - Holidays

The challenge for the Crazy 4 Challenges team this week is to get started on our holiday cards.  We could choose any holiday that's coming up, so I chose to get a head start on Christmas.  For the front, I used Karen Burniston's new Stripes/Plaid Stencil to create that fun Real Red & Emerald Envy plaid.  I stamped the sentiment from Holiday Clear Stamps onto a Labels & Circles die cut.
I thought it would be fun to fill the Sleigh Gift Card Holder with the new Holiday Charms.  I hand cut around the sentiment from Merry & Bright and attached it using the "L" die that comes with the set.  Add a few glitter dots, a present and it's ready to go.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Karen Burniston Designer Challenge - Girly or Ghouly

It's time for Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge!  The challenge this month was set by Shelly Hickox and the theme is Girly or Ghouly.
I couldn't wait to use the new Halloween dies so I chose to go with Ghouly.  I used the new Candy Corn Stencil to create purple candy corn.  Using this stencil is so easy because it's got the 4 shapes separated into their own row.  I made a glittery Midnight the Bat and added stitches using the football laces from Sports Charms.  I stamped the sentiment from Halloween Clear Stamps onto a Labels & Circles die cut.
I used the new Fence Post, Halloween Scene, Poppy the Owl, and Props 9 on the inside ghoulish scene.  When you open the card, the fence becomes 3-dimensional by arching out.  The little bat was stamped and then die cut using a companion die that comes with Midnight the Bat.
Happy Stampin',
