Crazy 4 Challenges - Shaped Card

The Crazy 4 Challenges team members are making shaped cards this week.  The shape can be anything other than a rectangle, circle or square.  I thought I'd use Karen Burniston's Cupcake Pop Up die to create a cupcake shaped card.  It's so smallishly cute that it could be used as a gift tag as well.
I used the pop up die to trace around a folded card and hand cut the shape out.  I then used the coordinating dies to actually die cut the cupcake shape.  I put double sided adhesive on a piece of Whisper White to die cut the words from Word Set 2 and sponge them with Blueberry Bushel and Call me Clover.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Go Barefoot Day

Take those shoes off because it's Barefoot Day with Crazy 4 Challenges.  I created this cute bear "Got Cake?" card because bears don't wear shoes.  I stamped the bear onto an oval die cut from Stampin' Up! called Stitched Shapes Framelits and colored him in using Stampin' Blends.
For the inside of the card, I thought it suiting to use Karen Burniston's Cupcake Pop Up and Word Set 2.

Crazy 4 Challenges - Cake

It's going to get sweet up in here!  The Crazy 4 Challenges team are adding cake, cupcakes or yummy treats to our cards this week.  I decided to use Karen Burniston's Cupcake Pop Up for my card today.  I stamped the sentiment from Birthday Wishes for You onto Pistachio Pudding and then used Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Marker to color it in.  I am using Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes from the Sale-a-bration catalog.  The envelopes have a coordinating pattern on both sides of the flaps - fun!
Sweetness overload!  I sponged Calypso Coral onto the frosting and Chocolate Chip onto the bottom of the cupcakes.  I added a banner sentiment using Party with Cake stamp set.  I love the washi tape all around the edges of the card.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Inspiration Challenge

It's time for an inspiration challenge with Crazy 4 Challenges.  The team is to be inspired by a beautiful cake decked out in mint/aqua, coral, gold, and white.  With my parents anniversary this month I thought it suiting to make them an anniversary card.  I stamped the sentiment from One in a Million onto a decorator label from Twist Panel Pop Up.  I swiped the Marbled background stamp with Calypso Coral and then sponged Lost Lagoon on the stamp and then stamped it onto a piece of Whisper White.
Both my parents love baked good and my Mom is a fabulous baker!  Happy 51st anniversary to my wonderful parents!  So to help celebrate I used the Cupcake Pop Up for the inside of my card.  I die cut some hearts and the bow from Gold Foil for a regal touch.  I stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes on a piece of Whisper White and punched it out with Duet Banner Punch.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Karen Burniston's Paper Pros challenge - Monochromatic

I set the theme for this months' Paper Pros challenge - Monochromatic.  It's easy enough to pick a color and use many shades of that color.  The idea for this card came from taking my son to see the new Emoji movie.  We were talking about the commercial we saw about the poo saying we're #2.  We missed our nephew's birthday and he wants to see the movie too.....ok see where I'm going here?

I used the frosting die from Cupcake Pop Up to make the poo.  I thought the sentiment was very fitting to my belated situation LOL.  I used several labels from Katherine Label to adhere my punny sentiment to.

For the inside, I made a family of poo wishing my nephew a happy birthday.  I think he'll get a kick out of this card or at least I hope so because I couldn't stop laughing as I was making it.

Happy Stampin',

Cupcake Pop Up

Oh how sweet this new Cupcake Pop Up die is!  I had the cupcake ribbon in my stash and the perfect stamp to match - yay.  The stamp is from Riley and Company.  Add a few sprinkles to the cupcake and viola the front is complete.
Now here's the big cupcake - so fun!  The Cupcake Pop Up die set comes with all the coordinating dies to decorate the cupcake.  I also used another die set called Nature Edges.  What's great about Nature Edges you ask?  Well, you can get both pieces for the top and bottom of your card with one cut!  The stitching is on both sides of the die so you can use both pieces for a positive/negative look.  The "Celebrate" fits perfectly in the bump.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel
