Crazy 4 Challenges - Sketch

It's the third Saturday of the month and that means it's sketch time with Crazy 4 Challenges.  I followed the sketch to make this beautiful card using Birthday Blossoms from Stampin' Up!.  The flowers were stamped onto a piece of Whisper White that I had sprinkled with Brusho previously.  The "Celebrate" die cut is a Sale-a-bration item called Celebrate You Thinlits.
For the inside, I used Karen Burniston's new Spinner Square Pop Up.  Here's a view as the card is opening.
I used the coordinating square dies for stamping a sentiment.  I adhered another Brusho flower to the spinner.  I added all those little dots to the centers of all the circles.  The little dots were from the Outline Stickers.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Owls

Frances set the challenge today with Crazy 4 Challenges by having the team create a birthday card with an owl on it.  I found the perfect paper in my stash for this challenge.  I die cut a few circles from Karen Burniston's Twist Circle Pop Up and stamped the sentiment using Stampin' Up!'s Birthday Blooms stamp set.
I used the Twist Circle Pop Up for the base card.....and here you can see the circle popping up as the card opens.
In the photo, the card is almost open completely.  You can see Poppy the Owl sitting on a branch from Halloween Scene.  Poppy's party hat comes from Props 2....it matches the paper so well don't you think?
And here's the card completely open.  The Twist Circle Pop Up is such a fun die to create with!  I stamped the sentiment using Stampin' Up!'s Suite Sentiments stamp set.  I sponged a little bit of ink on Poppy.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Sketch

It's sketch time with Crazy 4 Challenges.  I used a new stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Birthday Blossoms.  I really like how the set has a coordinating punch - the Pansy punch is certainly on my wish list.  I also used Tags & Labels Framelits and Greetings Thinlits.
I stamped the large flowers and leaves using Versamark then covered with embossing powder and heat set.  I colored the flowers and leaves using Watermelon Wonder andCucumber Crush then water colored with an aquapainter.  I die cut "Thanks" 3 times from Very Vanilla, adhered them all together then water colored with Delightful Dijon.  After the "Thanks" was dry, I covered it with Crystal Effects.  Lovin' those Candy Dots!

Happy Stampin',
Raquel
