The "Inlaid" technique is very popular at the moment, so it's no surprise that the Crazy 4 Challenges team are making inlaid cards this week. I adhered the gray and the foil paper together and then die cut the "Thanks". The DSP is fairly thick and it was a bit tricky to get both layers out of the die....well it tore and I ended up putting only the gray layer back in. I stamped a flower from Serene Garden and used the Garden Scene Framelits to die cut them out. I am a bit disappointed that you can see all the cut marks on the front panel. I would suggest using a new cutting pad for this technique to avoid the scratchy look.

I was playing around with the new Botanical Tags Thinlits and Foliage Frames Framelits die sets and created this card.
I adhered the flower die cuts to a piece of yellow and red paper and then cut out the flowers so there's a pop of color inside the flower. I used the Foliage Frames to die cut the white piece for my sentiment along with a few leaves.

It's an Ombre themed challenge this week with Crazy 4 Challenges. I sponged Pineapple Punch, Peekaboo Peach and Grapefruit Grove on a piece of Whisper White and then used the new Garden Scene die to emboss the corner. To color the embossed areas in, I used an aquapainter and Cucumber Crush and Rose Red Classic Ink Pad.

I made these tags using the new Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies from Stampin' Up!
The thinlits lets you decide the length of the tag as it cuts the top portion only. The flower and sunburst have a coordinating die that allows you to cut the shape out so you can adhere the shape over the tag. I used several Blendabilities to color in the flower. The Botanical Tags Thinlits are very fun to create with!

It's the third Saturday of the month and that means it's a sketch challenge with Crazy 4 Challenges. I used a cute stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Hedgehugs, along with the new Tufted embossing folder. I stamped the squirrel using Early Espresso and used a Sahara Sand Stampin' Write Marker to color him in.
For the inside, I used Karen Burniston's Spinner Square Pop Up and Word Set 2 - Birthday. By placing the pop up mechanism to the left, I have a lot of room to sign the card.

For this months' Paper Pros challenge, the theme of Food and Drink was set by Caz. I created a window in the front of my card and stamped a sentiment onto a window sheet. I stamped several flowers from Happiest of Days colored using Stampin' Blends an then fussy cut them out.
A view of the card opening.
I die cut the window 1" from the fold in the card per Karen's video. I also used the Charm Accordion die for the swirls and the stitched square.

We're making Masculine Cards with the Crazy 4 Challenges team today. I chose to use a stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Birthday Wished for You. I colored in the sentiment using Brusho and an Aqua painter. I put some Brusho onto my craft mat, sprayed with water, and used my Aqua painter to color it in.
The inside sentiment is from my stash.

Take those shoes off because it's Barefoot Day with Crazy 4 Challenges. I created this cute bear "Got Cake?" card because bears don't wear shoes. I stamped the bear onto an oval die cut from Stampin' Up! called Stitched Shapes Framelits and colored him in using Stampin' Blends.
For the inside of the card, I thought it suiting to use Karen Burniston's Cupcake Pop Up and Word Set 2.
