Crazy 4 Challenges - Sketch

It's the third Saturday of the month and that means it's sketch time with Crazy 4 Challenges.  I stamped the flowers from the Helping Me Grow stamp set with Black StazOn.  I then colored in the flowers with a white crayon so the Brusho would resist coloring in the flowers when I sprayed rubbing alchohol on it.
Once the piece was dry, I used Banner Framelits to die cut the shape I needed to follow along with the sketch.  I also used the new Starburst Punch and I fussy cut the sentiment from Birthday Wishes for You.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Helping Me Grow and Brusho

I started playing with Brusho Color Crystals from the new Occasions catalog and they are so much fun!
I stamped the flower from Helping Me Grow onto Shimmery White cardstock with Versamark, covered with white embossing powder then heat set.  First  I wet the flower using an aquapainter and sprinkled it with Brusho.  Next I sprinkled Brusho on the background and used my aquapainter to blend the color.  I used a die cut from Sale-A-Bration called Celebrate You Thinlits for the greeting.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Monochromatic

It's a monochromatic theme with Crazy 4 Challenges today.  Make a card that has different shades of one color - you may use white or black as an accent.
I love how this card came out.  I saw a similar card on Pinterest and thought it would be perfect for the monochromatic challenge. Since purple is my favorite color that's what I chose to go with.  And not only that, I was gifted some of this beautiful purple cardstock from one of my customers (thank you very much Pattie).
I stamped the flower from Helping Me Grow onto a piece of Wisteria Wonder.  I stamped the flower from Birthday Blooms onto a scrap piece of the purple and fussy cut it out.  This is a very simple card to make but it's just SO pretty!  Or am I just biased because purple is my favorite color?

Happy Stampin',
Raquel
