Karen Burniston Designer Challenge - Accordions with Friends

This months challenge is Accordions with Friends, you saw my friend Debra's post yesterday and now here's mine.  I used the Oval Accordion and Oval Dots Frame Edges for the base.  For the front, I used Karen's new Farm Grettings Clear Stamp set and colored the key words with Stampin' Write Markers.
Open up the card to reveal 4 panels of fun animals that are ready to celebrate your birthday!

Here's Brownie the Cow with a red glittered party hat & noise maker from Props 2.  Yes that's an actual metal earring....ok jump ring.
Cheepers the Chicken is holding a present from Evergreen Pivot card and a glittered balloon from Props 2.

Virgil the Pig is ready to party with his glittered sunglasses and bow tie from Props 1.  Let's not forget his party hat too!
I invited one more friend to join in on the fun!  My 12 year old neighbor Alicia made this card.  I enjoy crafting with Alicia because she's so eager to learn and loves glitter just as much as I do.
Alicia used the Accordion Star die - just like Debra my other friend.  If you're wondering, they didn't consult each other on what die they were going to use.

Notice the beautiful Amethyst Silk Microfine Glitter on the center star!  The Happy Birthday Pop Up die set provided the perfect sentiment.  Glitter flower dots helps to hold the string in place for the banners.

I hope you enjoyed the Accordions with Friends challenge and check out Karen Burniston's post tomorrow on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.

Happy Crafting,
Raquel
