Tombow Blog Hop

Welcome everyone to the Tombow and Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog Hop. Blog Hop with us to win a prize, the details are at the end of this post.
If you're here from Mary Prasad's blog, then you’re in the right place,  if not then you may want to start at the beginning. The project I'd like to share with you today is how I used Tombow Dual Brush Markers & Peel-Off Stickers  - sounds fun to me!

I made my card base using Karen Burniston's Accordion Circle Card cut from Daffodil Delight & Tempting Turquoise.  I used the Square w/ Circle Frame Edges to cut the patterned paper, covered the seams with Turquoise/Silver Glitter Peel-Off Stickers - I LOVE these stickers.  I adhered the scallop circle Peel-Off Sticker to watercolor paper & colored with Tombow Dual Brush Markers, a blender pen & a watercolor brush.  To color the bee, I colored directly on the watercolor paper & blended with a blender pen.  To color around the bee, I scribbled some blue marker onto a palette, added a drop of water & picked up the color with a watercolor brush.  On the wings of the bee, I added a little bit of Wink of Stella for a little shimmer.

I used the embossing feature in the Accordion Circle Card to get those lovely stitch lines around the edges of my card.  After embossing, I kept my paper in the die & used a black Tombow Dual Brush Marker to trace the lines - I love how raised & crisp the lines are.

On the main panel scallop area, I colored directly onto the watercolor paper for bolder color.  After I finished decorating the card, I used a little glue dot on the tab to attach the two circles together.  When folding the card, the circles come out towards you & the fold of the card gets folded in half like a regular card would.

I glued another bee in the bottom right corner.  I used Light Blue Velvet for the sentiment cut from 2 different dies (Happy Birthday & Dream) to make the sentiment.  I used "Dream" to get the two E's in "Bee".  After I die cut the letters, I used my Tombow Dual Brush Markers & a blender pen to add gradient color.  I glued the sentiment to the scallop circle included in the Accordion Circle set & I added little dashes with a black Tombow Dual Brush Marker to mimic the stitching on the card base.  I added Turquoise/Silver Glitter Peel-Off Stickers around the outer edge.  I really love how they are so glittery & don't add a lot of bulk to your card.

There is also a prize to win! What to do? To be eligible to win, please comment on each of the designers projects  and don't forget to "Like" the Tombow and "Like" Elizabeth Craft Designs Facebook page!  Tombow will announce a winner on Monday April 21st at 3:30 P.M. EST.
