Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge - Inspired Creations

It's time for Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge!
The team was challenged to take inspiration from a fellow Design Team Member.  Donna Wright is always on top of how many days there are until Christmas, so I thought it fitting to make Snowball the Sheep jumping over the fence counting sheep until Christmas!
I used Snowball the Sheep's emboss feature by keeping the cardstock in the die and sponging Crumb Cake Classic Ink through the open areas to ink the swirls in their wool.  I die cut 2 fence pieces from Fence Pop Stand for the sheep to jump over using the emboss feature again for a faux wood pattern.
I used Sleigh Gift Card Pop Up die, Props 5 and Merry Christmas Pop Up on the inside.    How much fun is Snowball having dressed as Santa?  Lots of fun thanks to Props 5! I die cut the white parts from White Velvet Adhesive and the glasses are from Silver Metallic Shimmer Sheetz.
You can see from this side view how the little present is adhered to the front of the little side bump and a present adhered to the back wall of the card.  There's a slot on the bump behind the sleigh with an "L" support to hold up Snowball.  Karen has thought of everything when she designed the Sleigh Gift Card Pop Up die because the die cuts the slot for you and even comes with the "L" support bracket as a companion die!

Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge - Homegrown Holidays day 2

I've got another sneak peak for you from Karen Burniston's latest Pop It Ups collection!  I used the new Chicken Wire die to emboss the background on my card and to die cut out of Early Espresso cardstock.  To emboss using the Chicken Wire die, I used an embossing sandwich on my Big Shot.  Cheepers the Chicken wants to know if you're a naughty egg or a nice egg.  I used Karen's new stamp set called Merry & Bright and Farm Greetings, I inked the portions of the stamp using Stampin' Write Markers.  To hold the sentiment I used the pitch fork from Hay There Pop Stand.
For the inside, I used the new Merry Christmas Pop Up and Merry & Bright stamp set.
I hope you have enjoyed this sneak peak of Karen's newest collection.  Please visit the Elizabeth Craft Designs' blog tomorrow for a video from Karen and lots more inspiration from the Design Team.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel
